3. Is SBS paperboard food grade?
SBS paperboard can be produced in food-contact compliant grades depending on coating and production requirements. However, this specific product is not food grade by default, while food-grade specifications can be customized upon request. It is still an eco-friendly paperboard made from virgin wood pulp and is recyclable.

SBS stands for Solid Bleached Sulfate, referring to a virgin fiber paperboard made from bleached chemical pulp.
